Common to all devices equipped with Ethernet

Question  "Connection error" dialog box is displayed when starting the attached application, and the computer and the device can not be connected.

Answer Please confirm the following points.

(1) Change the LAN cable.
It is conceivable that the claw for preventing the connector from slipping off is broken or the cable is disconnected.

(2) Disable wireless LAN.

(3) Place the switching hub between the personal computer and the device.

(4) Disable firewall and anti-virus applications.

(5) Quit the CPU high load application.

(6) Turn on the instrument power supply again.

(7) In the property of the network adapter of the computer, confirm that the fixed IP is set with values other than the device.

(8) Execute "ping 192.168.10.128" (factory state) at the command prompt. Check if the address is correct.

NOTE: The IP address is printed on the board or on the back of the unit.

CMD_PING

(9) Confirm whether each port number such as Computer Config Port in the [system] section of the configuration file config.ini is defined as other than 0. If it is 0, restore config.ini if there is a backup. Open config.ini backed up from menu "File" - "open config".

(10) Reinstall the application from the deives attached CD-ROM.
